| Almavore ALMA- fem. proper name, from L. Alma "nourishing," fem. of almus, from alere "to nourish." VORE (voracious)- from L. vorare "to devour." ALMAVORE- (Blackwood, circa 20th century) that which sucks/eats/nourishes itself on the energy of others; literally to devour what nourishes; to eliminate that which replenishes. I see a direct connection between almavores and what Hartmann describes as the "Younger Culture"; in short, that which consumes, dominates and overpopulates. ALMAVORE- aka Soul Eater, the Dis-ease, the Young Ones, the Deceiver, Wastelander |
